Thank you to everyone who took the time to attend Monday’s District of North Vancouver Council meeting to discuss the safety of our children when crossing the junction of William and 29th. We had an amazing turnout and Council is looking at all available options, for this and other intersections, over the next 90 days. The District have said they will allocate funding for whatever is deemed necessary. These decisions will affect the safety of most routes to Boundary Elementary.
So what’s next…. we need you to continue advocating! We will be hosting a Safe Routes planning meeting on Tuesday November 28 at 7pm in the school library. We need a voice in these decisions, so please come and see how you can support this cause and make our community safer for our children. If you can’t make it, but would like to be involved, please contact Gillian.
